43 Arrested health Workers

“They are not communist rebels but physician and health workers.”

We can hear these words from the supporters and love-ones of the 43 people who were allegedly arrested by the militants while undergoing health-skills training in Morong, Rizal. The arrested people are members of Health Alliance for Democracy and were in town to conduct medical training.

The arrested were having their health training in the said town when the troops raided the house, blindfolded them and forcibly took them to the headquarters. On the strength of a warrant arrest, the troops searched the area and seized many homemade explosive device, some hand grenades, cellular phones and campaign materials of a party list group.

Having detained, the supporters of the arrested health workers are seeking justice for them because they are not member of NPA nor rebels but workers who helped people with badly needs. They want the arrested people be released and reinvestigate the said case.

"FUBU"

So called F’K buddies (Fubu) mark sexual and romantic relations of call-center workers, there were some issues on the news today regarding the Sexually Transmitted Disease or the STD which were the mainly victims were the call-center agents.

The Fubu phenomenon is a risky sexual behaviors there workers have higher exposure to than their counterparts in other industries.

In contrast to casual sex, the Fubu phenomenon involves regular non-romantic sexual intercourse. It is said that more men than women engage in this behavior.

There are many cases appearing like same sex intercourse, unprotected sex which means that they are not protected during the intercourse and having more than one sexual partner. These cases results to the involvement of some workers to STD or AIDS, high risk of having this disease for call-center workers is now increasing.

One way to determine the people behind this is by conducting surveys and performing some necessary actions for the call-center agents. This helps the officials to determine who were engage in sex within office premises, this surveys revealed people who were infected by the disease.

It is very important for us to be aware with this problem; young people nowadays are different from young people during the era of our parents. We should be very sensitive in our safety, before anything else, be responsible enough to engage in sex and think hard before going to the peak of excitement.

PCOS MACHiNE FOR ELECTiON ??

Say goodbye to the old method!
Writing the list of the desired candidate on a paper during election is now an old method for the COMELEC officials. For some cases, using ballot boxes for elections is quite dangerous especially in provinces. Flying voters, burned precincts including the ballots and stolen ballots are common cases that results to a dirty election.

In this year upcoming election, COMELEC officials think of an easy way to scan the votes of the people. The PCOS Machine, much known as the Precinct Count Optical Scan Machine is the newest way in scanning the votes. It is a machine that detect and scan your votes clearly, erasures and blank answers are not counted in the said machine. It is an easy process for some officials because they will not find it hard to count the votes manually, but instead, the computerwill be the one to count it. It will be easier andwill shorten the works during the election period.

Having this kind of machine on election will lessen our worries during election, we will not worry about the dirty election and the cheating process happening during this period. But as a wise voter, we should not be confident enough with this machine, all we have to do is to vote for the right leader for our country and wishes that the election will be clean and fair. This machine is not the key for a good election, it is just a guide for us and still, it is in the hands of the peole in choosing whats best for his country.

Pessimistic to Optimisttic person .. (:

i admit that i am a pessimistic person, i always think that there is no sulotions for all my problems, i make small things complicated and i always rely on what i think and what to expect without consulting my friends.

then one day, i realized that with that kind of attitude, i am always problematic. it seems that i am holding the whole world's problem and instead of listening to others opinion about a simple problem,i made it more complicated and with that they always snob me and doesn't even want to talked with me.

then by that experience, i made myself a promised that by year 2010, i will changed my attitude. i will think on a positive way, i will consult others and seek help from them for my problem. by that, i gain confidence and i always have the solutions to my problems. :DD

PROMiSES .. PROMiSES ...

New Year is a time lots of promises are made, we target weight reduction, studying harder, better health, being a good citizen, more exercise, to earn money and to have savings. but do these promises need to be made on New Year's Day alone?

We can also make promises anytime in the year, not just New Year's Day. it is us who make the promises and not the season. Things like polka-dotted clothes, fruits hanging on the door, jumping to make us tall and even fireworks never make us wealthier, healthier or wiser in New Year.

We should remember that nobody else but us will make our promises come true. Promises supported by ACTiONS will bring the RESULT ..
